Augur Worms are small grub like organisms that infect Humans and Lycans. Burrowing into their victims skin, the worm begins to alter the host gradually hijacking control which begins the transformation. The process takes agonizing weeks, breaking down the host body and turning them into an infected Lycan or as mindless zombie like slaves to serve the colony. 

At the heart of each colony is a massive heavily guarded Worm Queen, whose sole purposes is to produce egg sacks filled with new worms. The Queen is heavily guarded deep within the colony where she controls her growing army. If left unchecked the colony will slowly spread, looking for more biomass to feed itself.

The Augur Worms relates as an add-on to the Occult Series. Done after the Vampire Series, this leans into the horror in occult-horror; exploring parasitism, body horror, and zombies in addition to Werewolves and Lycanthropy.
